Born in Graz, Austria in 1985, Andy G. Lohner grew up between Europe and the U.S., developing an early passion for surf, snow, and art.
After studying Graphic and Communication Design, he created snowboard graphics and designs for brands such as Lamar, Lib Tech, Quiksilver, Method Mag, MBM, and many others, while also beginning to exhibit his artwork internationally.
Music has been central to his life since his teenage years. Together with his brother, he formed bands and developed the visual identity for their projects.
In 2009, the two moved to London, working side by side within the art and design collective Loslohbros.
Since 2011, Andy has been based in Finland, where he co-founded the band and power trio Ocala Ray, which made a stop at the Grazer Orpheum during their European tour in spring 2025.
Recently, his friend and snowboard legend Ingmar Backman invited him to contribute to the re-launch of the iconic snowboard brand Atlantis (Ghost Town).
After several years focused primarily on design and music, Andy is now showing new artwork publicly for the first time since 2018.
