A night at the Burbon Hotel
For the opening of Tom Lohner's long-awaited new series, consisting of 13 works, the gallery was transformed into the "Burbon Hotel" in the style of the Great Gatsby. This hotel reflected the surreal world of the "Roaring Twenties." On September 15, our guests gathered there to experience an unforgettable night and celebrate the art as well as the paintings. The works reflected the glamorous era and told stories of wealth, love, lust, loss and longing. In addition, a selection of Tom Lohner's favorite works from the past 15 years were presented, borrowed especially for the exhibition from collections around the world. There was a small gift for everyone who came dressed in 1920s style!

Talkrunde: Starke Frauen und ihr Weg zum Erfolg
K1 Kunstforum and Bakerhouse Gallery present a panel discussion as part of the exhibition Epic Women 23: Strong Women and Their Path to Success Strong Women with Strong Stories.
In this discussion round, five female characters from very different directions present themselves - Nicole Niederl ("Die Steirerin"), Nici Schmidhofer (ex-ski racer), Katharina Schicho (singer, Schick Sisters), Daniela Müller-Mezin (Müllex, Jerich Logistics, WKO) and Lucia Riccelli (painter, performer).
They talk about their stories, positive experiences and anecdotes from their lives, which are intended to give strength and inspire imitation. A cross-linking to art and creativity is also the approach of this diverse discussion format.
The evening will be hosted by journalist, author and ORF presenter Mari Lang.
Parallel EDITIONS focuses on various graphics, multiples, small sculptures, objects, sculptures and art books. Art editions are thus at the heart of this unique art fair.
