Winner of the Audience Award and the President's Award at the 2023 Florence Biennale in Italy and a graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Irina Biatturi has been painting since her youth. After living in several countries, including Mexico and New Zealand, she now resides and works in Antibes.
Her oil paintings, which focus on women and sensuality, are inspired by Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles, as well as the compositions of the Italian Renaissance masters. Her canvases radiate a sense of peace and tranquility, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the glamorous and enchanting atmosphere of the "Roaring Twenties" on the French Riviera.
Her works are now part of numerous private collections and have been presented in galleries, museums, and prestigious art exhibitions. She has been a finalist in numerous painting and sculpture awards, most recently at the 2023 Florence Biennale, where she received the President's Prize and the Audience Award.
In addition, her works have been presented in publications such as Nice Matin, Vauban Magazine, TOUTMA, La Strada, Maisons et Jardins Magazine, COTE Magazine, etc.
