Julia Scholz (born 1980 in Landshut) studied veterinary medicine at LMU Munich. Today, she works both in the scientific field and as an artist in her studio in Munich.

Her works are characterized by precise composition and a vivid sense of dynamism. Music and pop culture often serve as points of departure, yet at the core lies an ongoing exploration of structure, color, and meaning.

In her practice, Scholz investigates visual codes and cultural symbols that shape collective memory — for instance, in series devoted to mixtapes, typography, and the aesthetics of pop culture.
