Discovery is a key piece of the series A Night at the Bourbon, as it reveals in which future era the event is set. The pencil drawing shows a woman on an expedition, discovering a forgotten piece of man-made landscape – or rather the remnants of a “sunken city.”

Furthermore, part of this drawing can be found in the pocket of one of the protagonists in one of the painted artworks.
