From the series: “Assembled Nudes.” This series is a tactile exploration of the “digital ghost” within the physical form. Using layered paper collage, the works translate the language of digital corruption, signal loss, and scanning errors into a high-contrast, physical medium. A bold cross serves as the central axis of each composition, functioning as a structural “grid.” These cruciform intersections provide the framework in which the body is sliced, shifted, and reassembled, creating a tension between the soft sensuality of the nude and the sharp, systematic disruption of the glitch.
In this back-view study, the human silhouette is subjected to a “systematic error.” The vertical and horizontal bars of the structural cross act as fault lines where the image “slips,” creating the characteristic glitch bars that cut across the pink and red skin tones. The work represents a moment of beauty caught in a frozen state of transmission.
