In 2009, while preparing for their first London solo show on Portobello Road, Andy and his brother Tom got welcomed by literally flying vinyls, which the wind took up in the air from next door. Andy grab some and ran into the record store “Man you are loosing all your records”, the store owner said with a cool voice,”take them, take them all they are for free”.

Experimenting with spinning records to paint abstract backgrounds, inspiration struck - this one became The Cream. The name fit perfectly: part ice cream, part tribute to the legendary band Cream, whose music surely was played loud while the piece came to life. More than a decade later, Andy now plays in his own power trio, Ocala Ray. Things come full circle after all. For him, music and visual art have never been separate, they continually inspire one another.
