Over the course of decades, Sorayama’s series of “sexy robots” has influenced designers and global pop icons alike. In this work, one of these figures, a symbol of the artist’s “strong desire to depict the goddess”, takes center stage. Viewed from different angles, the composition creates an illusion of depth and movement.
